Boy has this season in my life has been BUSY. Wow. I am so sorry I am now just posting. I have been so busy with college. Yes, I said college! I am officially a first year student at THE Bowling Green State University. One thing I can say about BGSU, is that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT HERE! My campus home is so beautiful and I can only thank God for bringing me here. So much has happened over the past six months.

Last week I had a wonderful experience. My mom and I went on a spontaneous road-trip; just the two of us. My mom had told me she had it all planned out, after researching different places for our destination, she found the perfect location; a resort called Oglebay in Wheeling, West Virginia. Once I realized we were headed in that direction, I began to get even more excited. After spending the weekend at the resort back in winter of 2011, I knew it would be the perfect get away to read, relax by the pool, take hikes, and fine dining. A place for engagement photos, weddings, family, business meetings, and even family vacations. But I left Oglebay three days later with many more memories than I could have ever planned and a closer relationship with my mom. Although I am not a travel blogger (however I wish I was-that would be AWESOME!!) I will be sharing all the memories we made through out the trip! (-:
Do ya’ll ever wish God would just walk into your room and sit on your bed and just be like “okay so this is what you should do, this is who is going to walk into your life, etc.?” I know I have this issue.
This season of my life has been confusing, to say at least.
Being a senior in high school has been one of the most stressful times of my life. Valentine's Day: February 14th. A day when it is a tradition to send a card, often anonymously, to a person one is romantically involved with or attracted to. Significant others buy each other gifts like chocolate, flowers, or even those huge teddy bears that are six feet tall.
Maybe you’re at school and everyone seems like they want to be your friend but you get home and the only text you get is someone asking for the math homework….
Flashback to the Spring of 2012: I am sitting in the bleachers of my school, watching my sister’s high school graduation. I was an eighth grader at the time, about to enter my freshman year. I remember sitting there thinking “Wow. It’s only 2012, 2017 is going to take forever to get here.”
April 20, 1999, a day in history was made. The Columbine High School massacre was a school shooting at Columbine High School in Colorado. 13 victims had died on that tragic day. One of them being Rachel Joy Scott.
A couple months after I was born, my parents had divorced. So I never really knew what it was like for my parents to actually be together.
It was the fall of 98. The leaves had just turned brown and the colors of autumn were bright. Things were starting to fall in place for my father and mother’s lives.
